(and yes, we are a two waffle maker family...)

This is for serious waffle eater!
I used to work at a restaurant at the downhill skiing slopes, and once made waffles from 9 am - 5 pm...The scent would lure all the skiers inside, and they would buy waffles and coffee or hot chocolate. Did 2 waffle makers that each made 3 waffles. Ay - those were the days...
