Dogs, goldfish, beta fish, hamsters, hamster babies, hermit crabs, and now, zebra finches.

Not so easy, getting these birds into their new home. In a blink of an eye and a "what just happened?" moment, the first male escaped in a parking lot drama gone very bad. Two weeks later, after waiting for a suitable pair to arrive, the new couple seems to be acclimating nicely, their little meep-meeps a cheerful chatter to our background soundtrack.

Now, if only the terrier would settle down...
