Iron Chef America, watch out! There's competition from over the Pond! The ladies of the household gathered together tonight, all in one very cozy bed, I might add, to watch this week's installment of PBS' Masterpiece Theater, The Complete Jane Austin. Tonight introduced us to Catherine Morland and Northanger Abbey. We especially delighted in the ending, and I believe that at least some of us will be back for Mansfield Park next week.

We watched Persuasion last Sunday. I have the book and had read it, but now I'm rereading it. Great story, too. We haven't seen Northanger Abbey yet, but I read that one while in Scotland a couple of years ago. It's really different from the rest. She loves Bath, doesn't she? Encourage Keilah to read the books; they're great! As a high schooler, I devoured them.
Just love Jane Austin, although it has been years... and the Brontes, too! What fun! Masterpiece Theater is so terrific! XOXOXO, Mom
I watched it last night. And enjoyed it. Den got up and left. He'd had enough girl-stuff! ha!
