Rescue at sea!One of our good friends, a wardroom mate from the old USS Michigan days, is now the Commanding Officer of the USS Rhode Island (SSBN 740)(Gold). The boat is currently deployed, but made news last week for rescuing five people from a capsized boat.
Way to go, Cmdr. Mooney and crew! We're proud of you.
